Find your individual assurance quotation via online form
The insurance market is vague to most individuals. There are many assurance offerers. As a customer you can hardly get the overview. Nevertheless one wants to get the best solution. Nowadays it is a good choice to use a rate comparison web page as Guenstige Ruerup Rente, when you are in need of a particular assurance. There you can get your personal assurance offer from a great number of assurance vendors.
Some important German insurances - for example Privathaftpflichtversicherung Vergleich - which are mentioned in this context are:
The private liability assurance: Even a slight mistake for example an error in giving way when bicycling, or a careless cast off cigarette may cause huge damages. Especially when people come to harm, the claims of the victim may result in the financial ruin of the originator of loss. There is no limitation to the top. Therefore the private liability insurance is very important for everyone. With a private liability insurance you and your family have protection from the typical liability risks of everyday life in the private sector.
The private health assurance: Private health insurance can be taken by self-employed people - regardless of their earnings. As an employee you may switch to the private medical insurance, if your yearly gross salary lies 3 years in a row over the insurance limit of 48,150 Euros (equivalent to 4012.50 Euros a month, status of 2008). Also officials, judges and members of parliament are usually privately insured. The German private medical assurance usually offers better performance than the statutory health insurance. Many assurance vendors give the option of making modulation to the tariff of the active agreement.
The home assurance: For most persons the own house is the most important investment in their life. Hazards such as fire, water or storm can cause immense damages or even a total loss. Therefore a property assurance is essential for every house owner. The household effects are not insured. This should be done by a separate household insurance. The elements of fire assurance and supply water assurance should always be included. Natural hazards might be a great risk for your house. So everybody should search a property insurance which includes these special risks. Assurance protection against storm damage should definitely be considered because of the rise of heavy storms during the past years in Germany.
The German Riester-Pension: The so called Riester-Pension is a government-funded private pension you can seize to close your personal pension gap. It is both safe and attractive: During the active working life, you pay contributions into a private annuity contract, a bank or savings fund, additionally you get growing state allowances and tax privileges as a bonus. Later you will receive monthly benefits a lifetime - in the form of an old-age pension or a payment plan. Each employed professional, who is not willing to rely on the governmental pension solely, should think about a Riester-Assurance plan. Also officials, judges and soldiers belong to the circle of beneficiaries of public support for Riester-Assurance plans.
The occupational disability assurance: Consumer protectors have repeatedly pointed out that the vocational invalidity assurance adjacent to the indemnity assurance is the most important assurance generally. The loss of manpower is an existential risk. Because of being no longer able to work means to earn nothing. Physical hardship often is the result. The state barely helps in such a case - the statutory pension insurance pays only a minimal disability pension for all people born up from the year 1961. The reason for the predominant number of vocational disablement cases is disease. Less common cause than disease is a previous accident. About every 4th worker and every 5th employee must quit their jobs for illness reasons before the time and must go into early retirement. When the claims for sickness benefits paid by the health assurance and for unemployment benefits are exhausted, you are confronted with a large money gap when not having an vocational disablement insurance.
The dog liability assurance: Without a dog liability assurance every dog owner carries a very high risk of liability when his four-legged friend once causes a damage. When the dog runs over the street and causes a traffic accident, one can be held liable for all damages of persons and vehicles. On the German assurance market there are many dog insurance suppliers. As a dog owner it is quite hard to find the best company and contract for your specific needs. The research for the right assurance can be done online. There are advisable websites which offer free comparisons of German dog liability insurances.
The above mentioned assurances and several more can be found at comparison websites on the Internet, such as: Guenstigste Riester Rente. This comparison web page is independent from a single assurance company and provides a sound overview of the market.
About Friedrich Gilly
Is teacher and theoretician, Gilly was a founding father of c19 Prussian Neoclassicism and forged an essential link with contemporary architecture in revolutionary France. The son of an architect, he studied with Friedrich Becherer at the Akademie der Kunste in Berlin and went on to work for Carl Gothard Langhans and Friedrich Wilhelm Erdmannsdorff.
Langhans’s design for the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin (1785-91), modelled on the Propylaeum in Athens, marked the demise of the late Baroque style that had lingered in Prussia during the reign of Frederick II, and the advent of a new interest in classical precedent. Gilly’s intensive study of Egyptian, Greek and Roman antiquity was stimulated by a six-month visit to Paris in 1797. Although he must certainly have encountered the work of Boullee and Ledoux, Gilly was particularly drawn to the designs of Francois Joseph Belanger.
Among the few buildings constructed to Gilly’s design during his short life were the Villa Molter and Palais Sohns in Berlin, and a mausoleum in Dyhernfurth, near Breslau (only the ruins of the mausoleum survive). Gilly’s lasting fame derives from his teaching at the Bauakademie in Berlin - where he was appointed professor for optics, perspective, and architectural drawing in 1799 - and from two unexecuted designs.
His projected monument to Frederick the Great on Leipziger Platz, Berlin (1796), takes the form of an octagonal enclosure entered through a massive arched portal topped by a quadriga. At the centre of the enclosure a Doric temple - probably derived from the Greek temples at Agrigento, Sicily - is set on a monumental plinth.
In another unrealized project, for a Nationaltheater on the Gendarmenmarkt in Berlin (c.1798), Gilly gave a simple, geometric articulation to the principal elements of the theatre: a cubic block for stage and scenery, and a semicircular auditorium. A simplified Doric order appears both on the gable-less portico and in the interior scheme, while the Diocletian window favoured by Belanger dominates the exterior elevations.
As teacher and model, Gilly exerted a great influence on his pupil and natural successor, Karl Friedrich Schinkel. With the exception of the Dyhernfurth Mausoleum, now in ruins, none of Gilly’s buildings survive.
The Stages of Demolition
Introduction
The definition of the word ‘demolish’ is deliberate and controlled collapse of a structure. In the late 1970’s Fred Dibnah became the most famous steeplejack in Britain when his work on demolishing tall chimneys without the need for explosives was shown on Television. Fred was an specialist on repairing tall chimneys, so when it came to taking them down he knew just how to do it. He would cut an alcove at the base of the chimney, and then place wooden props to support the structure. By carefully positioning the props, the chimney would collapse in the right direction when the wood was set alight and burned away. Once he was nearly crushed when he miscalculated demonstrating how dangerous demolition work is.
The actual word to demolish only came into being in 1570, and was used after that to mean the deliberate taking down or destroying of a building or structure. Although in fact the process of demolition in some form or other has been occurring for thousands of years. Buildings have been destroyed either by natural disturbances of the Earth’s crust or during battles or attacks on towns for as long as there have been structures. The remaining ruins would be removed and rebuilt or used for other buildings nearby and must be the first examples of recycling.
Preserving the past - preparing the future.
To preserve Britain’s history of agriculture the land between built up areas of the villages and towns is protected from development of urban sprawl. This land is known as Green Belt and is preserved for farming which is vital to the continuing economy of the country. By containing the Green Belt, urban areas are squeezed to provide housing, so developers have to be more creative to find suitable sites.
Britain is a country with a very dense population per square mile. The amount of land available for construction is limited compared to other countries. Therefore there is always a high demand for space on which to build. Taking down old and unused buildings and replacing them with new is one way to counteract this shortage.
Land that may be disused industrial and commercial sites, but could be contaminated with hazardous waste or pollution, are called Brownfield sites. Once the land has been cleaned up they are potentially valuable for redevelopment. Both Glasgow and South Wales created gardens out of old industrial sites and put in Shopping centres to attract visitors.
Greyfield sites are distinct from Brownfield sites in that they do not have the environmental concerns of toxic waste. The term greyfield comes from the large areas of asphalt which had once been car parks of commercial urban properties. Their value is in the fact that the infrastructure such as roads, electricity, water, sewage, and gas is already in place. These urban areas are underutilised or abandoned and are valuable because require very little remedial work to be developed. Cities such as Leeds and Manchester have had a massive programme of converting the old warehouses or factories into apartments, shops and restaurants, retaining the original shell and refurbishing the interior into modern accommodation.
The Demolition process
When a structure is marked for demolition there are many facts to be considered.
• The construction and size of the building.
• What items are valuable for re-use?
• How will the old site be re-used?
• How is the waste to be disposed of?
• Electricity water, sewage and gas mains.
Hydraulic excavators and bulldozers can be used to undermine the walls at the base, so that the structure will topple; at the same time controlling the manner and direction of the fall. Safety issues are paramount, and clean-up strategies are also taken into account when determining how the building will be demolished.
Traditional Demolition
Once all the services were disconnected, the men and machinery would go in and just knock down the walls. The whole structure would collapse and the resulting debris would be piled onto lorries and disposed of in landfill sites. Concrete foundation would be broken up by pneumatic drills and the site would be cleared of rubbish. However today demolition practices are subject to strict planning, safety and monitoring regulations and are highly controlled by the local authority.
Deconstruction and Recycling
The new approach to demolishing buildings is known as deconstruction - a green approach. Landfill sites are in short supply so the aim when demolishing a building is to diminish the amount of waste remaining.
Small structures such as two or three storey houses can be dismantled quite easily. The work may be a painstaking task of dismantling by hand - brick by brick - or beam by beam but by going carefully expensive materials are preserved for re-use. The value of deconstruction is that 90% or more of waste is saved from going into landfill sites and reclaimed materials can be re-used and recycled for future buildings. The farmer opposite my house sold his barns in the farm yard for housing; when the builder demolished the barns he cleaned up the bricks and reused them for the wall around the farmhouse thus retaining the character of the farm.
Modern techniques and machinery allows demolition companies to efficiently segregate waste types on or off-site. Construction materials are recycled and re-used whenever possible in the new structure making significant savings in project costs as well as being good for the environment.
Concrete can now be rapidly broken up with a new machine called a guillotine. Instead of rubble being taken to a landfill site for disposal it is crushed and used as sub-base material called 6f2 crushed stone or 6f2 crushed material, which is then used for the foundations of the new building, or sent to other construction sites.
Copper pipes, lead, roof tiles or slates, floor tiles, wiring and doors, and wood panelling are valuable items that are saved for recycling and re-use. Many specialist firms sell reclaimed old or antique building items in most towns and cities.
Tall Buildings
Tower blocks and chimneys are the type of tall buildings that may need to be demolished. The demolition of tall buildings necessitates skilled techniques. The tallest building to be demolished lawfully was in 1967/8 of the Singer Building in New York. The collapse of the World Trade Centre after the 9/11 attack in 2001 shows the terrible devastation that occurs if the demolition is uncontrolled and haphazard.
In the demolishing of tall buildings and large structures a wrecking ball on a crane can be used, but is rarely practiced because the swinging ball is rather uncontrollable. The proximity of other buildings is a determining factor which prevents the use of explosives to implode a tall structure. So ‘High Reach’ demolition excavators are used where other methods are not appropriate to demolish the top part of a tall building. Once it is down to a manageable height demolition can continue in the usual way. The various methods of demolishing tall buildings are by implosion using explosives, controlled collapse and piecemeal. To control the dust produced in demolition, water hoses and spray equipment are sometimes used and then it is called a wet demolition.
Explosions
The use of explosives in demolition is very specialist work and getting it wrong would be devastating. If for instance there is atmospheric pressure from low cloud above the implosion site, the shockwave may spread outwards instead of upwards causing the wave of energy and sound to break windows. If an implosion is not prepared correctly the danger may be damage to surrounding buildings where flying debris may cause injury to spectators.
For many people when they think about demolition they may have in mind the use of explosives in the dramatic collapse of a tall building. This process is actually called implosion using explosives. Implosion is essential for dense urban areas as it brings down a tall building so that the surrounding environment is damaged as little as possible. The collapse takes only seconds for the building to drop into its own footprint.
Because of the hazards of working with explosives they will only be used when other methods are too costly or impractical. Where there is a partial collapse of a building and there are still primed explosives that failed to go off, workers are in great danger because the remaining structure is highly unstable. At the same time the demolition has to continue to secure the safety of the site.
Health and Safety
The work of demolition is a much more technical and complicated process than most people would appreciate. The job is highly dangerous and requires experienced and skilled operators to carry out the work. It is essential that personnel working in the industry are adequately trained. Health and safety awareness is crucial in demolition services so it is advisable for operatives to have gained a Certificate of Competence in Demolition to ensure safety for both workers and public alike. All demolition work is regulated by the Construction, Design and Management Regulations.
Sequence of Demolition
An incorrect sequence of dismantling will result in premature collapse of a building because the stability of any structure is reliant on the interdependence of its component parts. Think of a house of cards and what happens if one of the supporting cards is removed.
There is a strict sequence of events before any demolition can take place. Councils throughout the country will have their own specific list for planning approval in their area, but a typical order would be as follows:-
• Provision of Information
Information must be provided about the construction of the structure to be demolished. Details of its previous use and the appropriate demolition methods to be used, including disposal of hazardous substances, have to be submitted by the demolition company.
• Survey of Demolition
A thorough survey of the site to identify any structural problems, as well as risks associated with hazardous or flammable substances, will need to be discussed in detail with the authorities. (E.g. A disused garage where petrol has been stored is a potential fire hazard so preventative measures will need to be taken).
• Preferred and Safe Method of Work
A reputable demolition company will be able to select the appropriate method of disposal showing the outline dismantling process. Planning is essential for vigilant monitoring. The authorities will require a detailed statement of the safety procedures to used, and all parties involved need to agree the methods before any demolition can take place.
• Preparation and Planning
Issues such as asbestos abatement, rodent baiting, dealing with hazardous substances, disconnecting utilities, and making safe any electric, gas or other services have to be shown in the planning stage. There is a lot of preparation to be done before even starting work on demolishing the building itself.
• Protection of the Public
Safety cannot be compromised so where there are heavily populated areas around the demolition site the protection of the public is paramount. Any health hazards will need to be assessed and temporary services arranged, and people affected will have to be informed.
These are just some of the items that go into the building demolition process and a competent demolition company will have the expertise to put everything in place to obtain the necessary planning approval.
Conclusion
The aim in demolition is to eliminate an unwanted house as safely and quickly as possible and in our modern environment efforts are made to recycle or re-use most of the old material. This is not a new idea although the word itself is relatively modern. On the borders between England and Scotland after the Romans left, a large part of Hadrian’s Wall was hauled away and use was made of the beautifully dressed stone to construct the new buildings in the towns and villages nearby and some are still standing today.
Demolition work by its nature is a very hazardous business and demolishing any building is a complex and skilled process. Next time you see demolition work occurring on a building give a thought to the people who work in a dangerous situation daily and how much is involved in the meticulous planning, regulations compliance, care and skill that goes on to carrying out the project to clear the way for our future.
How to Significantly Cut Down the Cost of Your Wedding Day
The wedding reception is probably the number one reason why couples blow the majority or their budget and also the number one reason couples go over budget on their wedding day. The first things that you will want to do if you are going to keep your wedding expenses low is don’t invite your entire family. Now this doesn’t mean you leave you sister or brother out of the wedding all together. This simply means you don’t have to invite any and every extended family member to the wedding. Make sure that you take a couple of looks at your wedding guest list because more often than not, this list is able to be trimmed.
Okay, so once your list is cut down to a reasonable size and most of your forth and fifth cousins are off of the list, now you can start taking care of trimming some of the cost of the actual food. One way of doing this is to have a buffet style wedding instead of having waiters and waitresses serve the food to your guests. By doing this you are immediately eliminating the cost of the helpers so that will trim the cost of the entire reception. Your aisle runners for weddings should always match your decor. Buffet style wedding a very common and this will not decrease the ambiance of the wedding at all. If your food is good, believe it or not but the guests will not remember it was buffet style. All they will remember is that the food was good.
There are many different ways that people choose to limit the money that they spend on photography at their weddings. While you want to make sure that every moment is captured during your special day, you also don’t want to blow your entire budget of pictures. One way that people save money is to buy cheaper photography and video equipment themselves and then get a family member to take the pictures at the wedding. A custom aisle runner may be hand painted. Sometimes this may back fire by have a relative that has way to much to drink taking the photos so make sure that the person you choose is responsible. Another way to save on photos at your wedding is to buy a bunch of disposable cameras and then have your guests take the majority of the photos. This often works out very well because you get a bunch of candid shots that you may not have gotten with just one person taking the photos. Lastly, you could not have photos at all at your wedding. But this is clearly not what you want because you would want to have as many memories as you can from your wedding.
The last way to decrease what you will spend on your wedding day is to make your own wedding favors. By doing this you will not have to pay an incredible amount of money in order to have a company make the favors for you. Some prefer the black aisle runner to the white one. This really helps out with big wedding of over 200 people or more. A single wedding favor does not cost that much but if you are looking at buying 200 of them, it really starts to add up fast. All you need to do is buy a favor making kit from your local arts and crafts store and this will significantly lower the cost of your favors.

Discussing currency when at home
My theme today is money. I am going to discuss some major topics which I think may affect you and I, and which I think are important. To start with, I am going to explore travel currency. I went to Colombia recently for a volunteer project, and was looking into the most advantageous way to take money there. There are a number of things to consider before purchasing travel money. For consideration, what happens if you run out of cash while you’re on your trip? What are the options to exchange money - if any? Many countries will have free agents walking around the streets who will claim to be able to get you the best rates. Warning: they are not likely to be legal and you could put yourself in a lot of trouble for speaking with them. Always look for genuine, legal money exchange retailers. It is not worth getting in trouble with the law, especially in some countries where penalties are severe. So you may have looked into some easy ways to take cash abroad, and I’ll come back to that topic later.
But another topic I would like to examine is the phenomenon which has something of a two-sided image - that of the instant cash. There are many ways to get a payday loan, and they often have names like payday loans uk or quick cash now for you - something straightforward and easy to search for. But there are pros and cons you may want to mull over with this form of borrowing money, and these include: will you be able to pay back in a month? Have you considered the APR rate? Why are you after an emergency loan in the first place? Many payday loan brokers stand accused of targeting low income consumers who are in severe need of money, and do not have the necessary credit history in order to get a bank loan from one of the main brokers. Whichever way you look at it, it is worth it to do some exploration on them. And of course, make sure you can make repayments - you do not want to get caught out with an APR rate of well over 1000%.
So have you given any more thought to our earlier theme of travel money? When I went to Venezuela, I ordered enough currency beforehand. In order to get the greatest exchange rates, the best course of action is to order currency in advance. There are tens of online providers who deal in very low rates, and will be an improvement to what you will find at the airport - and local bureaux once you have arrived at your destination. Something key is also whether the country you are visiting is able to accept worldwide currencies such as the US dollar - this can make a large difference to you and to your holiay there.
Long Term Senior Care Continues as a Common Trend
Long term care is help with eating, bathing, dressing, transferring from a bed to a chair, toileting, continence, etc. This type of care isn’t received in a hospital and isn’t intended to cure you. Long term care Minnesota is not necessarily medical care but rather “custodial care.” Long term care is very expensive, and most people cannot afford to privately pay for long term care services for very long.
Long term care is defined as any type of extended personal care, and can range from help with day-to-day activities (such as bathing, dressing and grooming) to skilled nursing care. People with physical limitations often need “hands on” Minnesota nursing home care and is needed when you require help with everyday activities of daily living. Activities of Daily Living (or ADLs) include bathing, dressing, transferring from bed to chair, toileting, feeding).
Long term care is an ever-increasing challenge for millions of Americans and their families. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) states that 70 percent of Americans who reach their 65th birthday will have to pay for some kind of long term care services. Long term care is usually not covered by health insurance except in a very limited way. Medicare covers very few long-term care expenses. Long term care is one of the most challenging businesses.
Long term care is a reality for thousands of frail older people says Paul Contris of Mission Healthcare. Long term care is health care provided for a significant period of time, often for the final years of a person’s life. It can take place in a nursing home or, preferably for most patients, in the individual’s home.

5 Extra Easy Steps For Creating An Affiliate Marketing Website
A lot of people struggle with starting a real affiliate marketing business online because they think that creating a website and marketing it involves tons of techical nowledge and know-how. Thankfully, that’s just not true.
These are 5 essential steps that I follow every time that I create another niche business:
1. Register a domain and get hosting
You have to find a solid hosting company, one that offers maximum uptime and provides the most value for your money. Also, I recommend a hosting company that has a cPanel and programs such as Fantastico. After that, be sure to study your market and think carefully about a domain name. This is something that might affect perception, sales coversions and much more. This step gets much simpler after you get hosting for the first time.
2. Get an autoresponder
This one is a very important part of marketing online. You have to have a good way to market your products to your costumers, and email marketing is the best way. With an autoresponder, you get a chance to do that many times over. Also, once you get an autoresponder, you can use it for all your sites and businesses.
3. Create content
Depending on what kind of a site you plan to have, you will have to create the content, whether it be in the form of product reviews or a simple blog. You can outsource this or write it yourself. Adding some affiliate marketing ebooks or PLR can booost your efforts significantly.
4. Create a website
This tends to be the most complicated step for most people, but it doesn’t have to be. By getting a hosting account that includes programs like Fantastico, you can install a Wordpress site with one click of a mouse. After that, all you need to do is choose a good theme template for it and you’re off. Managing and adding content to the site is easy, you just use to content that you had previously created.
5. Market your website
Decide on the most suitable affiliate marketing strategy for you and start doing a lot of it. You can do PPC, blogging, article marketing and social networking. The only important thing here is to choose the right strategy for you.
Creating a website doesn’t have to be hard and, although this is a rather simplified 5-step process, it can be done with ease and very little time. I hope you find this useful and assures you that you too can create websites and make money with them without much expense or hand-holding.
